What is the primary contraband of airline checked baggage?

Index > Power Life > Electrical Safety

Many people don't know that the items that can't be placed in airline checked baggage are...

mobile power supply and lithium battery!

Many people will check in and take pictures when they go abroad. Mobile phones can't be out of power, so they will go abroad with mobile power supply. However, when packing luggage, many people do not know that according to the regulations of the Civil Aeronautics Administration, the mobile power supply and lithium battery must be carried with the passenger when boarding the plane! Can't be checked in the trunk!

This is because if the battery in the checked baggage accidentally ignites spontaneously during the flight, it will endanger the flight safety. Therefore, when packing, the battery must be placed in the battery protection box, or put on the insulation tape on the electrode, individually placed in a plastic protective bag to avoid short circuit, and then put into the carry-on bag (boarding bag)!

Also pay attention when purchasing the mobile power supply: the label should be clear, and the BSMI certification of Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, M.O.E.A. is selected. The "rated capacity" indicated on the back is the actual output, which is much more important than the manufacturer's claimed battery capacity! Mobile power supplies that are small in size and inexpensive, but have a large capacity indication may be inaccurate. It is recommended to avoid buying!
