Major Operating Performance Indicators in the Past 10 Years
Note:
- International standards called SAIDI and SAIFI are used as the reliability indices by power utilities. The System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) is more commonly disclosed worldwide, while The System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) is not. There are formulas for both indices but different parameter definitions within the formula in different countries.
- The data listed in upper column is for the regular operation, the one in lower column is for the major natural disasters and incidents.
- In 2017 there was 815 power outage incident, which was mainly due to the interruption of the gas supply from CPC Corporation. The SAIDI of this accident was 32.572 (minutes per household per year), and SAIFI was 0.553 (times per household per year)
- In 2021 there were 513 & 517 power outage incidents, which result in SAIDI as 43.516 (minutes per household per year) and SAIFI as 0.864 (times per household per year)
- In 2022 there were 313 power outage incidents, which result in SAIDI as 91.285 (minutes per household per year) and SAIFI as 0.467 (times per household per year.)
