Taipower's Power Generation Vision

From 2014 to 2018, we implemented small hydro projects at water reservoirs governed by the Water Resources Agency. We also handle the screening of Taiwan's small hydraulic plants, evaluate engineering technology and financial benefits, and promote feasible sites. It is currently under development and the plant capacity is approximately 28MW. In addition, the medium and large-scale hydraulic projects estimate that there is still about 110MW of development potential, which is being evaluated and implemented.

Until the end of Mar 2024, Taipower has established hydropower generation installations with a capacity of 1817 MW, and the cumulative electricity generation is 571,908 MWh.
