Q: If a fire breaks out in wind power generators, how can we contain and suppress which?

Wind power generator has a low possibility of fire occurrence. According to a British expert, the total of more than 200,000 wind power generators around the world only have an average fire occurrence of 11.7 per year. However, as most fire trucks uses tap water to extinguish fires and limitations on height, wind power generators are embedded with a large amount of combustible and inflammable materials such as soundproof foam, oil, transformer oil, etc. As a result, in order to avoid inflicting secondary damage of sparks to nearby areas, surrounding areas of the fire site are alerted. In addition, the Company also predicts and assesses the possibility to set up automatic fire suppression devices with personnel of Original Equipment Manufacturer of wind power generators, so as to best reduce the possibility of fire occurrence in the future.
