Coastal Cleanup
Taiwan Power Company deeply recognizes that modern enterprises cannot emphasize enough the concept of sustainability. We not only do our best to implement the environmental protection for our power facilities, but also encourages all employees to make their best effort to environmental protection. We love our country and cherish the land. In Taiwan Power Company, environmental protection activities such as beautifying environment, community environmental protection, ecological conservation, energy saving are collaborated with the local government and public welfare organization.
With the increase in national income and the improvement of life quality, people spend more time on leisure traveling activities, especially in the coastal area. Therefore, to keep a cleaner and more beautiful beach, our company regular organizes coastal cleanup projects, including the beach cleanup near the power plants. Taiwan Power Company invites employees and residents in the neighborhood of power plants to care for and protect the environment together. Our company is consistently devoted to leaving a clean-living environment for the future generations.
Scholarship
Every year Taiwan Power Company provides scholarship awarding students in the neighborhood of the power plants. In addition, the company provides financial aid for underprivileged students (Low-income Households, students under poverty line, and Single Parent Family), through various assistance projects.
