A half-disconnected power cord will catch fire.
"Half-Disconnected power cord" means that the copper wire in the wire is broken due to being pulled or pressed. The broken part still has contact or is not completely disconnected, leaving a part intact, which will cause heat and sparks when the current flows through it, igniting surrounding combustibles. This is why when pulling the plug, you should hold the plug to remove it, and do not pull the wire directly. And do not place the wires under heavy objects or furniture, or place them where they can be walked on!
