Owing to the continuing growth of domestic economy and the promotion of the living standard, the demand for electricity has become much more stringent than before. Taipower has practiced load management for more than 40 years and has taken on the responsibility of ensuring a reliable power supply across Taiwan. Demand response involves the use of price incentives to change customer power consumption behavior so as to ensure power supply reliability while reducing peak loads.
In response to the policy of Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction,Taipower actively promote various measures to save electricity and carry out the task of energy conservation with regard to the internal aspect.So as to discharge the social responsibility, we continue to promote a variety of different activities about saving electricity on the external aspect. Additionally, we have founded Energy Diagnostic Centers to gradually improve our ESCO service and enhance our competitiveness.
