Our Compensation System
Our corporate compensation system complies with the regulations of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and is based on grade levels for each position at Taipower. We offer various kinds of extra incentives and allowances to employees, such as for those working in high-risk environments.
Performance-Based Bonuses and Incentives
As a state-owned enterprise, Taipower prioritizes its missions of driving economic growth and providing social sponsorship by executing government policies even at the expense of company profitability. In consequence, Taipower’s employee performance and bonus system is not solely based on the company’s yearly financial figures. Instead, bonuses are based on a combination of individual employee contributions, company financial performance, and service execution efficiency. The system is subject to government supervision and is in compliance with the "Guidelines for Performance Bonuses of the National Corporations under the Ministry of Economic Affairs."
