After the power plant sends out power, the power is transmitted through the transmission line and reduced through the substation, then through the distribution line supply and transformer to reduce the voltage, and finally become the power suitable for household or business premises electrical equipment.

To serve more than 14 million users in Taiwan, the power grid of the Taipower Company covers 36.97 million square kilometers, with about 3.12 million poles installed and about 1.42 million transformers installed.

Wires, poles and transformers are all necessary equipment for supplying electrical energy. 

They are built along the road to the places where there is demand for electricity, based on the principle of not hindering the original use and safety of public or private land or buildings.

To apply for pole relocation, you must go to the service branch of each district of Taiwan Power Company where the user is located after confirming that the power supply is safe, technically feasible, and that there are suitable locations for relocation.
