What happens to the short circuit?

Index > Power Life > Electrical Safety

What happens to a short circuit of a wire? Where a short circuit is likely to occur in the home is where the plug meets the wire, where the wire connects to the appliance, and the old wires. The former two are often subjected to bending, pulling, and squeezing to directly contact the two poles. The heat generated by the thermal effect melts the insulation sheath of the wire, causing sparks and heat, igniting nearby combustible materials, and causing fire. This is commonly known as "wire fire." Therefore, when you unplug the plug, you should hold the plug to remove it. Do not pull the wire directly. Do not bundle the wires in use, do not place the wires under a heavy object or place them in a place where they can be stepped on. When you find an electrical fault, turn off the power first!
