    • 2026 daily peak operating reserve curve
    • 2025 daily peak operating reserve curve
    • 2024 daily peak operating reserve curve
  • Definition:
    • Operating Reserve (OR): Operating reserve, the adequate generation capacity to be dispatched daily, as known as daily power supply adequacy, is the difference between net peaking capability and peak load (instantaneous value), as known as the actual generating capacity margin to be dispatched.
    • Percent Operating Reserve (POR): The indicator to measure the daily power supply reliability, which is the difference between net peaking capability and peak load (instantaneous value), normalized by peak load (instantaneous value) shown as a percentage to maintain reliable operation.
*Net Peaking Capability: The system installed capacity deducts the capacity loss caused by yearly generating unit overhaul, generating unit maintenance, outage capacity, thermal generating unit environmental restriction, auxiliary power generating unit malfunction, climate change, hydro unit & water level concern, irrigation, overflow, etc.
