Installed Capacity

　　The installed capacity at the end of this year was 37,371 MW.

The mainly added capacity was the Taichung Thermal Power Plant Steam Unit 10 (550 MW), and the Tatan Power Plant Steam Units 1&2 (530.2 MW).

Energy Sales

　　Total energy sales were 181.6 billion KWh, a 3.6% increase over the previous year. Of this, 58.0 billion KWh or 31.9 % were consumed by lighting customers, a 0.6 % increase over the previous year; 123.6 billion KWh, or 67.1%, was consumed by power customers, a 5.1% increase over the previous year.
　

Peak & Average Load

　　In 2006, the peak load reached 32,060 MW, a 3.6 % increase over the previous year; the average load of this
year was 22,439 MW, a 3.6% increase over the previous year.

Line Loss

　　The line loss was 4.85 % in 2006, 0.09 % higher than the previous year..
