1. The simple automation project of distribution feeding lines is under construction:
Yilan branch of TPC is now establishing a SCADA system with the functions of remote surveillance and operation so that it can control the automatic switches at remote position to isolate the distribution feeding lines. In case of a fault, it can be rapidly limited by control center and the range of the power failure can be also cut down, so the quality and reliability of power supply in the remote and mountain districts can be promoted.
2. Locantion of the line automatic switches :There are 36 sets in total that distributed over the nine distribution feeding lines.
a. In the remote and mountain districts Along Suhua Highway (No.9 Provincial Highway) in Suao and Nanao, Northern Binhai Highway (No.9 Provincial Highway) in Toucheng and Yilan branch line of Jhong-heng Highway (No.7 Provincial Highway) in Datong, there installs 22 sets in total.
b. In the plane and unsheltered area of Jiaosi and Jhuangwer, 14 sets in total are installed.
4. Development and expand
a. The project is planned to be completed in May, 2006.
b. In the populous area of Yilan City and Luodong and in the industrial field of Lize 35 distribution feeding lines will be subsumed in the range in the project in 2007.
c. Some of the distribution feeding lines in Yilan City, Luodong and other industrial fields that haven’t been included in the project will be subsumed after 2009
