(1)The raising of power plant efficiency

 (a)Generation equipment:

         To utilized the technics of Q.C.C to improve the operation experience and status of equipments, such that the quality of power generation will be increased and the generator fault down will be reduced.

         To implement the safety test of generation equipment in order to secure the normal operation of equipment.

         To implement the generator efficiency analysis and replace the erratic equipments periodically.

 (b)Nuclear generation:

         To implement the nuclear power plants thermal performance diagnosis and analysis system.

         To join with EPRI on nuclear power plant thermal performance project in order to raise the operating efficiency.

         To carry out the fourth term (2004~2008) in order to improve generator power for nuclear power plants.

(2)To reduce the line losses both of transmission and distribution lines:

In order to reduce the T & D line losses, TPC takes the main schemes as following:

         Raise the system operating voltage.

         Simplify the voltage level.

         Balance of electrical demand supply for areas.

         Enhance auditing for electrical pilferage.

         Implementation load management.

(3)To undertake active R & D for high efficiency power transmission equipment, so as to promote and to utilize efficient equipment.

(4)To research and to promote the power system with high efficiency and high automation.

         To promote the Hierarchical Dispatch and Control Project, and the Distribution Automation Project continuously, so as to raise the operation efficiency of distribution automation system and decrease the power line losses.
